I’m romanticizing about wearing a wispy red dress like this with an equally stunning floppy hat. Actually pulling it off is another thing, but one can daydream.

I want to start a new series called {Loved & Noted} that displays inspiration from creatives and fellow bloggers from all over. These are a few things catching my eye lately. This cute printable kite, a yummy and healthy hello sunshine snack, and this simple DIY sola flower stirrer by Confetti Pop perfect for spring (buy wood sola flowers here $5/18). It’s been in the mid-80s up in the Pacific Northwest and I’m loving all these bright fun colors!

All that’s needed for a modern day flower girl is a playful floral dress (€132), a colorful basket purse ($198), and some lovely blooms that last forever ($16). I’m loving this hand drawn pattern on this hand made dress by La Casita De Wendy. We’re off work today enjoying the sunny weather (& picking up some furniture). We’ll also be headed this cooking demo tonight with Seattle’s Tom Douglas. Should be fun!

I’ve been having a love affair with rings lately. With Spring around the corner, lucite is bound to be another fun trend. Since getting the nesting tables above, I can’t seem to stop looking at any piece of furniture that features lucite. It not only helps make a space look bigger, it’s fun when they’re injected with a hint of color. That clutch and those wedges (a pretty splurge!) would definitely go with everything.

Yesterday was Spring Equinox and also the start of the National Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington DC. How I’d love to see all the pink blossoms that dot the city. Instead, I’ll be daydreaming in delicate flower crowns, pretty rings, and a spritz of cherry blossom perfume. By the way, how good do those cherry blossom dark chocolates filled with cherry almond liquid caramel look! I also found these adorable cherry blossom sticky notes. As you may know I don’t have a green thumb, but having a yard for the first time with room to grow, I’m dreaming big (maybe a little too big). Armed with a bunch of beautiful seed packets by BFF gave me in a pretty orange lacquer box, hours of research online on how to sprout seeds, and a potential purchase of a ton of grow lights and heating mats, I may finally attempt this big brown thumb hurdle of mine. We’ll see. If it doesn’t work out, I’ll blame it on not having a beautiful pretty greenhouse like the one above.
