On Friday, A and I headed to the The Ocean “food court” for a date night. He knows my favorite thing ever is to pick up little snacks from different places and try them all. That’s what I love about food cart pods too. Today we got some wings from Basa Basa, a burger from Slowburger (we used to do to Slow Bar just for this burger!), and “Balls Balls Balls” from 24th and Meatballs. I’m signed up for the Tasting Table email and for some reason they’re on a big meatball kick and so I’ve been craving some for a while. I asked for one of each flavor meatball (Classic Italian, Pork Piccante, Chicken Parmesan) in the spicy pork sauce. It came with crispy baguette slices for dipping the sauce. Each one was really unique and homey. Definitely a comfort food. We caught a glimpse of the meatball hero & must go back soon! Oh yea…and don’t miss out on those peanut butter cookies with a Reese’s smashed on top!
