It’s Friday! I may or may not be working this weekend so as I result I couldn’t book a ticket home to see my lovely mother. It all worked out though because she’s driving down with her college friend to be with my grandmother, aunts, and uncle. They are always the funniest bunch. That side of the family truly is straight out of My Big Fat Greek Wedding besides not being Greek. I think they are all at least 20 decibels louder when they are all together. They poke fun, yell and scream, laugh, cook amazing dishes, cry because they’re laughing so hard, and eat tons of food. It’s always an awesome time.
Since I couldn’t be with her and she’ll be travelling, I had a gardenia bonsai (her favorite flower) sent to her yesterday. Hopefully she loved it.
For all those last minuters, I have a simple mother’s day card for you to print out and give to your favorite mom (or moms)!
