{Wish I Was Wednesday} The Official Manufacturing Co.

Even though I’ve been a Cali girl all my life, I have this pride towards Portland (Oregon) since moving here a couple of years ago that I can’t quite explain. There are amazing vintage shops, some of the best food I’ve had, quirkiness that you just can’t make up, lots of craft beer, genuine friendliness, and a strong creative community. I love it when I oogle things online and then realize it’s in Portland. I totally stumbled on this portfolio by accident. I had always enjoyed the branding of these places I frequent, but I never realized they were all designed by one company! The company is made up of three freelancing guys with experience from Wieden+Kennedy and Ace Hotel that “wound up on a studio together and realized how much better it could be.” Here’s some of their work for you to enjoy.

P.S.  I totally school girl giggled when I realized their abbreviation spelled OMFG.

Olympic Provisions is a European style deli and restaurant that opened a couple of years ago on the growing east side of the Willamette river front. The OMfgCo designed their branding.

A lot of you are familiar with the Ace Hotel mini chain. A recent Hitched event was held at their Palm Springs location, which has made the blog rounds. They have amazing branding some of which OMfgCo has a hand.

Many of you have have probably heard of or even tried Stumptown Coffee as it’s making it way into cafes across the nation. Their signature bean packaging was designed by OMfgCo.

Frances May is this amazing boutique in downtown Portland that I dream of becoming my closet. They have carefully selected clothing and accessories from local and independent designers. OMfgCo re-branded their merchandise tags, stationery, and gift cards.

Next is the invitation that went out to Nike Travel Agents to present them to Ace Hotel. The package contained various vinyls taht were played during the presentation all with handmade covers.

I kind of wish I could just cut & paste their whole portfolio here, but I guess that’s what their website is for! Give them a visit.
