It’s finally Friday! After a week full of headaches (literally & figuratively), I’m glad to finally get a break.
This weekend I’m going to Summer School PDX and I don’t think I’ve ever been so excited to go to school! I’ve chosen to take Photography with Lisa Warninger and Packaging 101 by Tokketok & Shim + Sons. Then, Joy of Oh Joy! added a Sunday class, which I signed up for about Blogging and Social Media. I believe there are still a couple seats available, so sign up and we can hang out! It will be a total creativity boot camp!
In preparation for all this excitement, I’ve been busy making business cards and fun little matchbook notebook freebies to give to new friends. I still have lots more to make, so hopefully I’ll find some time to show you what I’m bringing.
I was happy I already designed my cards in one of my moments of free time, so that I could just instantly print them out for this weekend. So, I thought I should make some free designs for you to mix and match for a personal card of your own and save you some time!
The color palette I used came straight from Tuesday’s post of the brightly striped dress & huge shades.
I’ve made 6 fronts and 6 backs for you to choose from and personalize.
- Choose a front and back or just a front that you like.
- Click them to open the jpg file. Save the file to your computer.
- For personalization of the front, you can open the jpg in a photo/picture editing software. If you don’t have one, there are plenty online that can help you add text (see bullets below for a list). You can even open any program in the Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.), place the jpg image, and add text that way.
- Print them out on cardstock to be cut out or purchase business card paper (can be found here) to put them on a template for printing.
Note: The Orange backgrounds are just for you to see the white. Click image for true jpg.

Please let me know if you need any help. I ‘m excited to see what you come up with!
This week we’ve:
-
printed free Father’s Day plaid bow tie cards for this weekend.
-
collected all colors of the rainbow in porcelain owl necklaces.
-
been inspired by the color forward collection by Josh Goot.
-
gained a color palette from a brightly colored dress & huge shades, which inspired today’s printables.
-
wished we were Mike Lowry because of his mad illustration and hand drawn type skills.
Have you been needing calling cards? What are you plans for the weekend?

What a fantastic How To! This will be my inspiration to play around with making my own cards instead of always forking over a chunk of money to have them done. I love it when creative also = economical!
Susan – Yay! I’m all about being able to save ya’ll some time and money. It’s great too when you’re not sure if you’re going to open that store or start that website because you can instantly change it and print some more!
