Daydream in Color

I’ve always had a love of little coin purses. Maybe it stemmed from my mom always carrying one around when I was little that she used to let me hold. It was a bright fuchsia with flower embroidery that zipped shut. She’d let me feed the parking meter and the water dispensers at the grocery store. She’d wait patiently as I counted out the right change and deposited the coins with a satisfying clunk into the machine.
