I enjoy showcasing local Portland talent and I love it most paired with foods. I was instantly drawn into Jen Studio’s work once I saw her work for Fifty Licks, a local and delicious ice creamery. Her retro feel packaging is so appealing with its neutral gray paired with fun colors based on flavored. Today, I wish I was a part of Jen Wick Studio.
Jen Wick Studio is made up of two creative ladies: Jen Wick, of course, and Sage Warner.
Jen started off with making zines in high school and started her career as the lead pre-press designer at an off set printing shop. Then, she became the Art Director of the weekly culture rag Portland Mercury. After five years, she landed the role of Senior Designer at Sagacity Media. Just last year, she decided to start Jen Wick Studio. Sage grew up in Hawaii and came to Portland to study Graphic Design at PSU. She started working at Jen Wick Studio since her graduation. She helps out with illustrations, production, and proofing.
Check out their work, which is simple and clean with doses of color below. Also check out their links at the bottom of the post for more!
